Sports Facility Booking helps a club or sports complex rent courts, grounds, and halls by the hour. Staff set opening hours as weekly templates. Odoo then creates bookable slots. Customers pick an open slot from the portal. Front desk confirms, checks people in, and raises a quotation or invoice in standard Sales and Accounting.
Use it if you run cricket grounds, football pitches, badminton halls, or mixed indoor courts and you need one schedule that customers can see without calling the desk.
- Facilities: Type (cricket, football, badminton, and your own types), location, capacity, photos, and amenities such as floodlights, parking, and changing rooms.
- Slots without typing every hour: Weekday templates (start, end, duration, optional buffer), Generate slots for a date range, and an optional job that keeps slots filled for the next N days.
- Block time: Close a court for maintenance or a private event, with a reason on the slot.
- No double booking: A pending or confirmed booking locks that slot. Confirming a second booking on the same slot is refused.
- Prices that follow demand: Each facility has a base slot price. Rules can add weekend or evening surcharges, discounts, a fixed price, or a customer-tag discount (for example corporate). Optional last-minute promo can lower still-open slots close to start time. A manager wizard can suggest a weekend uplift from recent bookings; you approve it as a rule.
- Booking lifecycle: Pending, confirmed, cancelled, completed. Reschedule swaps the slot. Cancellation uses your hours-before-start window and optional late fee. Check-in is a toggle for the door.
- Money in standard Odoo: Create quotation from the booking. Invoice when the sales order is confirmed, or when the booking is completed. Payments and credit notes stay in Accounting. This zip does not add Razorpay or UPI by itself.
- Customer portal (login required): After login, customers use /my/sports/book (week list, facility filter), see their bookings, cancel, or reschedule. Portal requests start as pending until staff confirm. There is no public Book Now snippet on the website.
- Memberships: Prepaid credit packs or unlimited access for a validity period. Confirm with membership to deduct credits; cancel can restore them. This is not the Odoo Loyalty app.
- Email: Confirm, cancel, reminder before start, and optional empty-slot promo to partners who opted in.
- Staff panel: Today’s schedule, check-in board, and quick block. Operators do not need full pricing admin.
- Dashboard and reports: Today’s bookings, occupancy, and invoice revenue; peak demand; bookings analysis; slot utilization; daily summary PDF.
Works on Community and Enterprise, including Odoo.sh and your own server. Website is required because the portal pages live there. English only. Multi-company is supported.
This is not Sports Academy Management. That product covers players, coaches, batches, and class attendance. Facility Booking is the court and slot product. Buying one does not include the other.
