Pet Care Management is for grooming salons and small veterinary or care shops. It is not a full hospital EMR and not a boarding kennel ledger. Pets, appointments, and reviews are custom models. Owners are Contacts. Services and retail add-ons are products. Staff are Employees. Calendar holds the appointment event. Sales and Invoicing handle the quotation and invoice after you create them from the appointment.
The public site lists services by branch at /pet-care. Booking at /pet-care/book requires a signed-in website user. The portal shows owner and pet details, appointment history, cancel, review, and pay when an invoice exists.
- Pets: species, breed, photo, microchip, allergies, medications, temperament, branch. Owners on Contacts with reward points.
- Appointments: services plus extra products, staff, branch, date and slot. States: draft, confirmed, in progress, completed, cancelled, no show. Reschedule and cancel wizards. Create Quotation, then invoice from the sale order.
- Calendar view plus a calendar.event on the appointment.
- Branches: codes, city, manager, navbar switcher, allowed branches per user, record rules by active branch.
- Services: duration, category, available staff, reward points, publish on the website. Products for treats and retail.
- Staff: Pet Care tab on the employee (slot minutes, branch, appointment history). Slots follow working schedule and duration.
- Website: service catalog, book form, portal My Status. Reviews after completed or invoiced visits.
- Optional vaccination tab and PDFs (settings: Enable Vaccination Records). Appointment and vaccination reports.
- Reminder cron: email hours before a confirmed visit (default 24). Confirm also emails the owner.
- Dashboard: appointments, pets, owners, services, products, staff, status mix. Appointment analysis pivot.
- Config: species, service categories, cancellation reasons. Groups: User, Manager, Vaccination Records.
Works on Community and Enterprise. Needs Sales, Invoicing, Website, Portal, Calendar, Employees, and Product. English only. Does not install CRM. Website pay uses the appointment invoice, not a separate payment-acquirer module in the depends list.
